A TRUE Solution To Twitter Impostors
It’s the latest celebrity accoutrement … P-Diddy, Shaquille O’Neal, Keri Hilson, MC Lyte, and Oprah all have one. What are they? Why, Twitter accounts, of course. If you’re a celebrity, Twitter provides a way for you to keep your fans abreast of your every move and interact with them directly.
But, what do you do if you’re a celebrity and someone else has signed up for an account using YOUR name, pretending to BE you? Last month, Kanye West blasted Twitter for not immediately ousting his online doppelgangers.
In response to similar celebrity complaints, Twitter recently announced that they have already started verifying sites belonging to celebrities, like that of Shaquille O’Neal, with a “Verified Account” seal of approval.
So what’s the solution for celebrities until their sites are verified?
One celebrity, actress Rachel True, has matters into her own hands and has come up with a simple but ingenious way of making sure her fans can find the “TRUE” Rachel True on a variety of social networking sites. Take a look:
