Aretha Franklin Calls Surgery A Success
As we reported yesterday, singer Aretha Franklin underwent surgery yesterday at a Detroit hospital for an undisclosed health issue.
“God is still in control,” Franklin told The Associated Press in a statement. “I had superb doctors and nurses whom were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country. God bless you all for your prayers!”
We wish the Queen of Soul a speedy recovery!
