As we reported earlier today, Laura Schlessinger apologized yesterday for using the “N Word” on her radio show.

Dr. S didn’t use the word in a racist way but it is so evident that she does not understand nor does she care about how the word affects those of us who do not refer to their friends and relatives as “n’s.” At no point should a person who is NOT of color use the word. Actually, no one should ever use it however, our youth has taken the word to a whole new level and I’m sorry, but those of the other persuation are not included in that level. You’re just not. What white people meant to use to destroy our confidence, our youth uses it as sign of brotherhood whether the former generationa like it or not. Additionally, the caller who was feeling a little unsettled by her neighbor coming over and saying “How do you black people…this and How do you black people that…” is right because those comments have racial overtones. For her husband not to say anything makes me believe he is a coward or he feels the same way. Lastly for her to say African-Americans voted for Obama just because he is black is racist. There are many intelligent, forward thinking, productive and professional individuals who can see beyond the glitz and glamour of politics. Many were on the fence, many were not sure but then again how would she know since her very good black friend is a paid bodyguard and not a neighbor. Dr. S is a closet racist. She just doesn’t know it.
