(Audio) Yung Berg Salutes NBA MVP Derrick Rose with Song
Yung Berg is paying tribute to new NBA MVP Derrick Rose. Yung Berg’s song called (you guessed it) “Derrick Rose” was Berg’s way of paying tribute to the star of his hometown’s team.
Derrick Rose became the youngest NBA MVP and Berg says he thinks the young NBA star has what it takes to lead the Chicago Bulls to the NBA Finals this year. Berg hopes that the song, which is in heavy rotation in Chicago, picks up steam across the nation:
“The response has been phenomenal… Hopefully I got my own little ‘Black and Yellow’ thing going on,” Yung Berg said to Billboard. “My goal is for it to be playing inside the Bulls playoff [games], like when Derrick Rose scores, or for ESPN to show it. I would love for it to get played like that.”
