Beyonce’s Voice Ends up on Space Shuttle Atlantis

On Day 9 of their trip to space, the flight crew of NASA’s Space Shuttle Atlantis got a surprise pre-recorded message from Beyonce.

“Good morning Atlantis. This is Beyoncé,” said the pop star. “Sandy, Chris, Doug, and Rex, you inspire all of us to dare to live our dreams—to know that we’re smart enough and strong enough to achieve this. This song is especially for my girl Sandy and all the women who’ve taken us to space with them, and the girls who are our future explorers.”

Not one to miss an opportunity to promote her new album, Beyonce’s single “Run The World (Girls)” was playing in the background.
