Bishop Eddie Long Accused Of Seducing Young Men
Bishop Eddie Long who owns one of the biggest black mega churches in Atlanta that boasts a 25,000 membership is being accused of seducing (and having sex with) young men. Two young men from his congregation say that the pastor coerced them into a sexual relationship. They were 17 and 18 years old respectively when they say the Pastor tried to seduce them with cars, money, clothes, and international trips.
Long’s attorney, Craig Gillen, says the pastor “categorically denies the allegations” and adds, “We find it unfortunate that these two young men would take this course of action.”
For the record, Bishop Eddie Long has been a critic of same sex relationships, calling for a national ban on same sex marriages and his church provides counseling to gay members to get them to turn straight.
