Chris Brown To Perform At 2011 BET Awards
Chris Brown will perform at this year’s BET Awards. The singer performed last year during the awards and became emotional during his performance and tribute to the late singer, Michael Jackson.
Brown had been excluded from paying tribute to his idol at the BET Awards the year of Michael Jackson’s death which happened shortly after he plead guilty to assaulting his former girlfriend, Rihanna.
It’s no surprise that he was included as a performer this year. Brown leads the pack with 6 BET nominations this year following his hit album, ‘F.A.M.E.’
Jill Scott and Alicia Keys will also be performing this year. The BET Awards 2011 will air live on BET on Sunday, June 26, at 8 p.m. hosted by comedian Kevin Hart and MC Lyte will again announce the show.
