Fox Cancels Wanda Sykes Show, Will A Jamie Foxx Show Replace It?
Sad news for Wanda Sykes. TV Squad is reporting that Fox has decided to cancel The Wanda Sykes Show. Though the network hasn’t made an official announcement about the show’s future, it’s no secret that the show was sliding in the ratings and underperforming its predecessor, MAD TV.
So, what might replace it? According to TV Squad:
Fox has two pilots — one written by and starring ‘SNL’ alumĀ Dana Carvey and former Fox Saturday night talk show hostĀ Spike Feresten and another from Jamie Foxx and ‘MadTV’ creators Fax Behr and Adam Small — that it developed for Friday or Saturday night primetime, but which may now land, according to Deadline.com, in the 11PM on Saturday spot.
