Gabrielle Union Flashes Forward
Actress Gabrielle Union has joined the cast of the new ABC sci-fi drama, “Flash Forward.” On the show, Union will play, Zoey, a criminal defense attorney who becomes involved in a love affair with one of the show’s central characters.
“We’re thrilled that Gabrielle is joining our cast,” executive producer David S. Goyer said in a statement. “When we met with her, we immediately knew she was our Zoey. She’s witty, soulful and beautiful. I’ve been wanting to work with her for a long time.”
The show will premiere on ABC on September 24, 2009.
According to Variety.com:
“FlashForward” is ABC’s biggest drama bet for the fall. Series revolves around the aftermath of a mysterious event when everyone in the world blacks out and is given a glimpse of their future. Others in the ensemble include Courtney B. Vance, John Cho, Jack Davenport and another “Lost” vet, Sonya Walger.
