Halle Berry Addresses Rumors She Will Play Oprah in Biopic
Rumors have been circulating for some time now that Halle Berry was chosen to play Oprah in an upcoming biopic. Halle Berry taped an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in which she addresses that rumor. The interview will air on Ellen’s show on Monday.
She addresses the rumors saying that they are untrue:
“I’m not going to play Oprah,”she said. And she even called the queen of talk to confirm. “I was just like [pretends to be on the phone], ‘Hey, Oprah, Am I playing you? Just tell me because nobody has told me this.’ I don’t know where these rumors come from.”
In fact, Berry didn’t even know if there was an Oprah biopic in the works.
“I don’t know,” admits Berry. “Not that I wouldn’t want to play Oprah if there was a movie. I just don’t know how this stuff gets made up.
