Jordin Sparks Reaches New “Heights”
Former American Idol Winner Jordin Sparks is making her Broadway debut in August as a member of the cast of “In the Heights.” She will be playing a 12 week limited engagement beginning August 19th, 2010 for the Tony Award-winning musical.
In a press release, the singer expressed just how thrilled she is about her Broadway debut:
“It’s always been one of my dreams to perform on Broadway,” says Jordin Sparks. “This is a brand new experience for me. I look so forward to spending time in New York City and joining this talented cast and my favorite new musical.”
