Kerry Washington Among Obama’s Picks For Special Arts Committee
According to the NY Times:
An eclectic roster of artists and entertainment industry figures were named to the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, the White House announced on Monday evening.
Among the 25 people who were named by President Obama as members of the committee were the talent agent Bryan Lourd, managing director and co-chairman of Creative Artists Agency; the actors Sarah Jessica Parker (top right) and Edward Norton; the cellist Yo-Yo Ma (top left); and Teresa Heinz Kerry, the philanthropist and wife of Senator John Kerry.
Also named were the actors Kerry Washington, Forest Whitaker and Alfre Woodard; the director George C. Wolfe (above right); Anna Wintour (above left) of Vogue; Damian Woetzel, the former New York City Ballet dancer; and the architect Thom Mayne.
