Leona Lewis Cancels Book Tour

In light of yesterday’s event in which a man punched Leona Lewis in the face at a book signing, the singer has decided to cancel the rest of her tour.
She was rushed to the hospital, and her rep assured she was ok, but just a little shaken up. Leona was scheduled to fly to Germany today to continue the tour, but it’s now been canceled.
She wrote on her website, “Thank you so much for your support it is truly overwhelming. Yesterday was a horrible shock and left me extremely hurt and upset.
“I’m very sorry to those I wasn’t able to meet at the signing. Thank you again for all of the lovely messages.”
Leona has a lot going on right now, between her appearance on X Factor coming up, to her first major UK show, which she’ll start rehearsing for next week.
So we don’t blame her for wanting to take a few days to recover from that incident!
