Lil Wayne Plans To Retire By Age 35
Lil Wayne has been in the rap game since he was 15 years old and says that he’s got less than a decade left before he hangs up his mic for good.
The now 28-year-old told Hot 97′s Angie Martinez that he has no plans to stay in the rap game past the age of 35:
“This is what happens when you work very, very hard. People think that when you say you work hard, they think you put two extra hours in. This is my life….That’s why retiring at 35 would be a life lived, because this music thing is my life. So retiring at 35 would be enough. I’m 28.”
So how will Weezy be spending his time post retirement? “This is a solid plan and I’ll stick with my plans. I’ma be a dad….” And when asked if that will include more children, he repolied adamantly: “No! I’m good. I have four. I’m good.”
Weezy is currently on tour with Nicki Minaj.
