Mariah Carey Says She’s Really Only 12 Years Old

a recent interview with British Newspaper ‘The Times,’ Singer Mariah Carey said she is only 12 years old. The Times had asked her how she felt about turning 40. Her reply: “Who turned 40? I have no idea what you’re talking about turning 40 – I’m 12.”

They asked her if that’s how old she feels to which she replied: “No, I am 12. Honestly, I don’t think I’m normal. I don’t think my life has been quite normal, I disregard time, you don’t see me wear a watch – I don’t adhere to modern rules or the normal rules of time.”

She said she also doesn’t celebrate birthdays: “I don’t have birthdays, literally…. If anyone wished my happy birthday, I’d be like, who are you talking to? It’s about not being tied down to anything.”

Carey and husband Nick Cannon are pregnant. They baby is due in the Spring. We sure hope she celebrates their baby’s birthday!!!
