We thought we had sworn off American Idol this season … really, we did. But with Modern Family in repeat, your fearless HListed editors instead checked out last night’s Idol Gives Back charity special.
Leaving aside all manner of speculation about Victoria Beckham’s appearance and Fergie’s outfit … highlights from the two-hour special included Joss Stone and Jeff Beck’s performance and Mary J. Blige — backed by Orianthi and Randy Jackson — performing Led Zepplin’s “Stairway to Heaven.”
