NBA Laker Ron Artest To Legally Change Name: “Call Me World Peace.”
In one of the more bizarre stories we’ve heard of late, TMZ is reporting that LA Laker Ron Artest has filed paperwork to officially change his name to World Peace.
Yeah, that’s right… WORLD PEACE. The NBA star has reportedly already filed the necessary paperwork with the L.A. County Superior Court to change his name.
According to reports, Artest says he’s looking forward to having a new Lakers Jersey printed up that reads PEACE on the back.
