Nicki Minaj Explains Her Green Hair

Folks have speculated that by wearing different color wigs, rapper Nicki Minaj has jacked Lil Kim for the multicolored wigs and look Kim rocked back in the early 90′s. Now Nicki Minaj opens up to Hype Hair about why she wears different color wigs and why her green one is especially a winner. Predictably, she never mentions Lil Kim as inspiration:

“I like the green bob. Everyone seems to like that. People are saying it’s the winner right now…I decided to choose a new look. Color makes me happy. It really excites me. I am a very visual person and when I look in the mirror, and I see green or I see pink, it does something to my attitude. It makes me feel positive.”
