Oprah Winfrey’s Secret: She Has A Sister She Didn’t Know About

Oprah Winfrey announced late last week that her show on Monday would reveal a family secret she called “A miracle of miracles.” This set the internet abuzz over the weekend with speculation about what secret the talk show host was going to reveal.

Today we found out when Winfrey announced on the air that she has a half sister, Patricia, she didn’t know she had. Winfrey said her mother gave up her half sister when she was a baby and that Patricia grew up in the foster care system. A few months back, Patricia contacted Winfrey’s family and she officially met Winfrey for the first time on Thanksgiving day.
