Pastor Eddie Long Sued for Defaulting on a Loan in Georgia
Embattled Pastor Eddie Long is being sued for defaulting on a loan in Georgia. According to the suit filed in Georgia on Monday, Eddie Long and two business partners purchased a gym back in August of 2007 and have not been keeping up with payments.
The lawsuit is seeking $1.9 million and gives him ten days to pay up or he and his business partners will be asked to pay for attorney’s fees plus principal and interest on the full amount due.
It’s been a tough month for the pastor. There are currently four other lawsuits filed against him by former male congregants who have accused the pastor of luring them into sexual relationships.
