Prison Guard Fired For Spying On Lil Wayne?

According to the NY Daily News, former Rikers guard, Amelia Negron, says she’s filing a federal lawsuit against the city of New York saying she was a victim of harrassment and discrimination. Negron says Rikers claims that she went into an unauthorized are to catch a peak of Lil Wayne and was told to leave. Negron says she was in the area to visit a colleague and when the colleague informed her she couldn’t be there, she left.

Addressing claims she was spying on the rapper she told the NY Daily News: “I don’t even like rap. I like rock and alternative music and didn’t know much about him when they said I tried to see him. None of it’s true.”

This month the Department of Corrections fired her citing too many absences. Negron disputes that claim saying she missed work because of an injury.
