R. Kelly to Kick off Soul Train Awards in November

The 2nd annual Soul Train Awards will be held in Atlanta on November 10th of this year. Taraji P. Henson and Terrance Howard will host the awards show. R. Kelly is expected to kick off the awards show with a powerhouse performance. Other artists scheduled to perform at the awards show include Ne-Yo, Erykah Badu, Keyshia Cole, Cee-Lo, and Faith Evans.

Usher and Alicia Keys lead the pack with 4 nominations each and Drake has 3 nominations. Alicia Keys has been nominated for Best R&B/Soul Artist Female, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Record of the Year. Usher received nominations in Best R&B/Soul Artist Male, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Dance Performance. Drake was nominated for Best Hip Hip Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Record of the Year.
