Usher Officially Files For Divorce

According to the Associated Press, R&B Star Usher (30) filed for divorce from his wife of two years, Tameka Foster Raymond (38) on Friday, June 12th in Superior Court in Atlanta, Georgia. Court records indicate that Usher referred to the marriage as “irretrievably broken” and that the couple had been separated for almost a year.
The couple have two sons together, 21-month-old Usher Raymond V and 7-month-old, Navlyd Ely. Tameka has 3 other sons from a previous relationship. Usher is seeking joint custody of both sons.
The divorce filing comes several months after Tameka Foster Raymond reportedly faced life-threatening injuries following a rumored plastic surgery operation gone wrong in Brazil.
The couple is due in court on July 15th.
