Rev. Jesse Jackson Pays A Visit to Aretha Franklin
As we reported last week, Aretha Franklin underwent surgery on Thursday for an undisclosed condition. The Queen of Soul got a special visit from Reverend Jesse Jackson after her surgery.
Reverend Jackson told The Detroit News that Aretha is “recovering” and in high spirits: “She’s doing very well. She’s very prayerful. She’s a woman full of deep religious faith.”
No word yet on the nature of her surgery.
