Rihanna Hires Jay-Z’s Roc Nation to Manage Her
Rihanna has confirmed that she’s dropped her current manager, Marc Jordan, and instead hired Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Management to handle all of her business. She told Associated Press that she’s “so excited to take this next step in my career.”
In addition to her music career, the singer is launching a new company called Rihanna Entertainment that will “merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance, fashion and book ventures.”
This won’t be the first time she’s worked this closely with her mentor, Jay-Z. The rapper was responsible for getting her to sign to Def Jam Records back in 2005 shortly after Rihanna auditioned for him.
