Roc-A-Fella Co-Founder Busted in Pot Ring

One of Jay-Z’s fellow founders of Roc-A-Fella Records, Kareem “Biggs” Burke, was arrested last week along with more than 40 other people as part of a drug bust. The ring is said to have controlled the marijuana market in New York for more than two decades.

According to the New York Daily News, federal prosecutors allege that Burke was a member of the ring since 1992. More than $1 million in profits and 177 pounds of marijuana were seized as part of the bust.

Burke faces 10 years to life in prison for his involvement in the drug ring.
