Serena Wins Wimbledon
On Saturday, Serena Williams (27) beat her older sister Venus Williams (29) in the Wimbledon women’s finals to secure her 3rd Wimbledon title. Serena Williams dominated through most of the match winning 7-6 (3), 6-2.
This marked the 21st time overall the sisters have played against one another and the 4th time they have met in the Wimbledon finals. The Williams sisters have dominated Wimbledon in recent years by clinching eight singles titles in the past decade.
