Spike Lee To Make Film About Michael Jackson
Popeater.com is reporting that Spike Lee has penned a movie about Michael Jackson called, “Brooklyn Loves You, Michael Jackson.” Lee was one of the organizers of a real life tribute by the same name following the death of the entertainer in 2009. This movie is said to be about the organizers of this tribute and their gentrified neighborhood that stands in their way.
Popeater spoke to Samuel Jackson who is expected to have a role in the movie and who shared that,” Spike was bent out of shape about Michael Jackson’s death for a long time,” before adding. “(He was) depressed. I guess the depression set him into writing that story. He was disturbed by the death.”
