T.I. May Spend More Than a Year in Jail for Drug Offense
T.I.’s probation officer is reportedly recommending that he spend 14 months in prison if his probation is revoked. The rapper and his wife, Tiny, were arrested last month in Los Angeles and both were charged with possession of a controlled substance. Ecstasy was allegedly found in the car they were driving by a police officer who pulled the couple over and searched the car after smelling marijuana.
T.I.’s lawyers have responded to probation officer’s recommendation calling it “erroneous” and saying that the rapper should serve no more than 11 months for his recent offense.
T.I.’s expected in court to answer to the charges on October 15th.
