Toni Braxton is M.I.A. for ‘Braxton Family Values’ Premiere

Toni Braxton was a no-show at her own premiere earlier this week and no one seems to know why. The premiere celebrated the 2nd season of ‘Braxton Family Values’ which premieres tonight on WeTV. Following a screening of the first episode of the new season, Toni’s sisters and mother were left to answer questions about why Toni never showed.

Tamar said she didn’t know where Toni was, while Traci tried to stick up for Toni:
“If it weren’t for Toni, there wouldn’t be Braxton (Family Values). She is a star unto herself.”

Toni’s mom, Evelyn, said that Toni was on her way to NYC, and picked up right where Traci left off in defending her: “Toni is the reason we are here. She is an icon.”

Toni hasn’t completely abandoned promoting the new season. She appeared earlier this week on the Wendy Williams show with her sisters.

Braxton Family Values premieres Thursday, November 10 at 9pm ET/PT on WE tv.
