Tyra Banks Sued by Mother of a Teen Sex Addict
Tyra Banks is being sued by the mother of a teen sex addict who appeared on her former talk show. The mother of the 15-year-old teen says that Tyra’s producers did not get her permission to go on the show. She is suing Tyra Banks for $3 million.
Here are more details according to E! Online:
Beverly McClendon is claiming that her daughter responded to an open call on the show’s website last fall about teen sex addicts, and producers later flew the girl out to New York and put her up in a hotel without her mother’s knowledge.
Warner Bros. Entertainment and the executive producers of the show are also included in the suit, filed in federal court Oct. 8.
In court documents, the Georgia native said the show “was undoubtedly watched by sexual deviants, perverts and pedophiles alike,” and violated her daughter’s privacy.
McClendon is also trying to get an injunction to prevent the episode from airing in the future.
