“Unsung” To Feature Teddy Pendergrass For Season Opener
The popular TV One series “Unsung” is back for a new season. They are kicking off their fith season with the story of Teddy Pendergrass. Pendergrass passed away last year after a long illness. The show will talk to various family and friends who will share their memories of the popular singer.
The show will also talk about the accident that confined him to a wheelchair and how becoming disabled changed his life and career.
Subsequent episodes of “Unsung” will feature the following artists: Tammi Terrell (September 20), George Clinton (October 4), The Fat Boys (October 18) and The O’Jays (November 8 ).
