(Video) Aretha Franklin Responds To Halle Berry’s Concerns Over Biopic

Aretha Franklin announced some weeks ago that she had tapped actress Halle Berry to play her in a biopic about her life. A week ago, Halle Berry denied she had signed on to play the role, said she was honored being considered, but that she didn’t think she was a good fit since she can’t sing.

Now Aretha has responded to the Academy Award winner, reminding her that, “Many actors have portrayed vocalists by lip-synching to the artist’s original recordings.”
