(Video) Gary Coleman’s Ex: “Why Would I Want To Hurt My Husband?”
Gary Coleman’s ex, Shannon Price, gave a video interview that TMZ has obtained. In the interview, Shannon Price says that contrary to popular belief, she did not push Gary down the steps in their house causing his intracranial brain hemorrhage: “A lot of people sit there and say, yeah, she pushed him,” she said. “People are so cruel, they don’t even know. I was upstairs, he was downstairs. How am I going to push him? Why would I want to hurt my husband, are you kidding?”
She also talked about how she doesn’t want people to blame her for his death and see her as heartless. why she made the decision to end life support: “The doctors told us that even if they had done surgery on him, he would’ve died. He would’ve bled to death during the surgery. Even if they did take a chunk out of his brain, he would not be the same. He’d basically be like Muhammad Ali… I mean, Gary was gone.”
She also mentioned randomly and out of the blue that Gary was good to her and even bought her a car which she says “he chose to do and which I never asked him for and I thought it was very sweet of him to do.” mmmhhmmm…. random like we said.
