(Video) J-Hud Talks About Family Murders For The 1st Time

In the most recent installment of VH1′s popular series, Behind The Music, actress and singer Jennifer Hudson opens up for the first time publicly about the murder of her mother, brother, and nephew.

Jennifer described the aftermath of her family’s murder:

“It’s all like a blur. It was surreal. It wasn’t really… it was like I was outside of myself. I prayed when I get up in the morning and prayed before I laid down at night. If I didn’t I’d wake up depressed, the day didn’t go right…. for almost two weeks straight inside one room with just family and friends coming in and out. because of course the press was everywhere.”
