Kanye Offers Swift Apology: “I’m Ashamed That My Hurt Caused Someone Else Some Hurt.”

Kanye West appeared on Jay Leno’s show on Monday night where he apologized for interrupting Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech during Sunday’s MTV VMA’s.

When Leno asked Kanye how his mother would have reacted to his behavior he said: “I’m ashamed that my hurt caused someone else some hurt.”

He went on to say that he will take some time off: “After this, I need to just take some time off and analyze how I’m gonna make it through the rest of this life, how I’m gonna improve, because I am a celebrity and that’s just something I have to deal with.”
