Weigh In: Bow Wow Signs With Cash Money

Sunday night Bow Wow announced via Twitter that he’s signed a deal with Cash Money records. This will make him a label mate to power house rappers Lil Wayne and Drake; something that’s not lost on the rapper, “It’s the triple threat Bow, Wayne, Drake. Its about to be real stupid,” said Bow Wow. “Any Bow Wow fan that I let down … what I am getting ready to do, I got y’all. I apologize to the fans that I let down. It’s finna to go down. Its on now, baby. Me, Drake and Weezy … let’s get to the money.”

Bow Wow had been signed to Columbia/So So Def since 2000 and released 6 albums under that label.

No word yet on what the rapper has in store for his Cash Money debut. We have learned that the rapper’s first release will be a mixtape called Green Light.
