What Is HListed.com?

We know what you’re thinking: “Another celebrity news and gossip site?” Well, yes and no.

Yes, HListed.com is your place for entertainment news focused on African Americans. But no, that’s not all it is.

Here’s how we plan to be different:

• We recognize that — thanks, in part, to the Obamas and a renewed interest in all things political — there’s a new class of “celebrity” emerging. These folks occupy the corridors of power in our nation’s capital, and their cultural influence is growing. Look for features involving key White House figures.
• Like other sites, we’ll bring you the candid photos to which you’ve grown accustomed, but we have plans to do things with video as yet unseen elsewhere.
• We plan to increase coverage of books, elevating literature to the level that most reserve for movies, music, and television.
• We’ll provide you with a comprehensive list of new releases across a range of entertainment genres.
• And with greater access comes better insight into celebrity life, so look for in-depth profiles.

In short, HListed.com is a mix of low-brow and high-brow … where the Kool-Aid meets the Cabernet … where hot meets haute.
